TeenWorks (“we”, “us”, “our”) helps connect teens ages 13–17 with local employers. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Youth Privacy & Parental Consent
TeenWorks is intended for users ages 13–17. If a teen is under 16, parental/guardian consent is required before an account is created or personal information is submitted. We may request a parent/guardian email and verification steps to confirm consent.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe information from a child under 13 was submitted, please contact us so we can remove it.
Information We Collect
- Account/Profile: name, email, age, city/ZIP, and optional profile details like skills and availability.
- Applications/Interest: information you choose to share with verified employers when applying or expressing interest.
- Communications: messages sent through our contact forms or emails to us.
- Usage: device/browser info, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP for security and analytics.
- Employer Verification: employer business details and job posting information used to verify legitimacy.

- Provide and improve TeenWorks services.
- Verify accounts, employers, and job postings for safety and trust.
- Send service-related messages (support, account notices) and, if you opt in, updates.
- Prevent fraud, misuse, and enforce our Terms.
